WePay powers the payments behind some of the world’s top fundraising platforms and handles the entire scope of payments on DonorUP, from merchant onboarding, to settlement, compliance, and fraud/chargeback management.
Nonprofits have immediate ownership over their donations and can choose to have the funds automatically transferred to their bank account on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
WePay is a certified Level 1 PCI Compliant Service Provider (the highest level), which requires an annual independent security audit of their processes and systems. They test their system daily (manually and automatically) to ensure security.
Additionally, DonorUP is registered as a Professional Fund Raiser with the New York State Attorney General Charities Bureau.
